My name is Olga Sanchez, and I am a Certified Spanish medical and healthcare interpreter and translator (CMI-Spanish, CHI™- Spanish).

Early Career
Before venturing into the field of language services, I worked in the Corporate Finance industry for 25 years, progressing through several positions. That stage of my career gave me broad exposure to all aspects of Business, including:

– Bank negotiations
– Corporate Communications
– Mergers and Acquisitions
– Human Resources
– Information Technology
I work in the greater Philadelphia area, Pennsylvania.
My analytical skills and results-oriented mindset allowed me to succeed and progress over the years, but deep down I felt the need to fulfill a greater purpose to serve and help underserved communities. It wasn’t until 2021 when a series of personal and professional circumstances set the stage for what was to be a profound personal and professional transformation.
A New Beginning
After completing the Professional Certificate in English / Spanish Translation from UCSD Extended Studies, the Medical Interpretation Certificate from AALB and the Medical Translation Certificate from AulaSIS, I decided to fully venture into the Medical Interpretating and Translation field and I never looked back. Eventually, I had the opportunity to expand my services into Community Interpretation and Translation. I also work in the Business field leveraging the knowledge and experience that I gained in the past.
In 2023 I founded my own company, Worthy Words LLC. The company’s name reflects my caring for people and the passion I put into serving the communities that need it the most. I strive to provide exceptional language services, because when care and compassion are central values, excellence naturally follows.
